This webpage offers information on (swing) dancing that is west
of Boston with the demarcation line somewhere between Route 128
and I-495, but still east of the 413 area code. I suppose this
makes this area Central Massachusetts. You might want to jump straight

Some of the events/places
mentioned here are technically outside Boston but they may also appear
in the regular Boston listings (mostly because I felt like it). If
something that is outside Boston but still close to the city, you might

Acton Jazz Café

This venue regularly features dance bands that you see all the time at other venues.
Word has it that there's no dance floor unless they
move some chairs. Someone says that there's only about seating for 50 so make reservations
for a night with a band.
The Frohsinn Club

Medway VFW

Monthly dance every 3rd Friday. Lesson is at 7:15,
dancing from 8-11, featuring the 'Boots' Russo Swing Band.
The Sherborn Inn
junction of routes 27 & 16, Sherborn.
The Sherborn Inn offers excellent dining with occasional live swing/big band music

The Concord Scout House
The Concord Scout House, 74 Walden Street in Concord, MA.
The Scout House hosts several Contra dances each week.
Regular swing dances have been suspended for the time being.

4th Tuesday of every month.
