There are major events around the country that might attract people from around the country or even overseas. Even local dancers might be encouraged to stay in lodgings at the event instead of driving home each night. Included are dance weekends and Lindy Exchanges. Workshops with specific teachers aren't included because those kinds of workshops can be arranged locally.

There's also a list of clubs and organizations mostly in the New England area. Note that "club" refers to organizations with members, as opposed to a nightclub.

A lot of information come in from other states so pages were created for them to keep them from crowding out the local information.
