Those of you in southern New Hampshire might want to check out listings in northern Massachusetts because it's right next door. Those elsewhere in the state might want to check out neighboring Maine or Vermont.

Editor's Note: I don't get up to New Hampshire much so I don't have much personal experience with these dance venues. I depend on the kindness of local dancers to keep me informed of local activity. UNH Hepcats Swing Club

Lessons and dancing at UNH every Wednesday when school is in session at 6pm.

New Hampshire Amateur Ballroom Dancers Association (NHABDA)
Monthy ballroom dances at the Pinkerton Academy in Derry, The Milford Town Hall in Milford, or the NH Institute of Art in Manchester (see calendar).

Upper Valley Swing Dance Network provides swing and ballroom dance information for New Hampshire and Vermont.

Don't forget that some of the Vermont venues are fairly close to New Hampshire.

Help!
Sometimes I'll see a dance band play at a non-standard venue and I sometimes wonder if these venues are conducive for dancing, i.e., do they have a dance floor? Some of the venues and some of the bands aren't very helpful in providing that information, particularly if it discourages people from showing up. I don't get a chance to check out most of these venues so please help me provide better information to my readers by letting me know which venues are suitable for dancing. Thanks!
