Since 1984, Sara Brodsky and her professional, friendly staff at
Best Foot Forwardsm
dance studio have been successfully teaching students in the greater Boston area
that learning to dance socially is easy and fun. Whether it's teaching a group class, a
private lesson, in residence at a school or at a special event, Best Foot Forward
takes pride in providing individual attention to students in classes that are
encouraging and supportive.
Our emphasis is on teaching skills that will enable students to dance at the many
social events they attend throughout their lives, rather than focusing on competition.
We teach all levels of social, swing, Latin and ballroom dancing.

As of January 1, 2008, Sara Brodsky has official retired from the dance instruction business.

Currently, we are in residence at Paulette' s Ballet Studio in Newton and the Old
South Medford Fire House.
Best Foot Forward offers:
- Private lessons for one couple: one-time, ongoing, or any number of
lessons you choose;
- Semi-private lessons for 2 couples: one-time, ongoing, or any
number of lessons you choose;
- Private group classes for 3 or 4 couples -- put together a class with
friends or family on a one-time basis, an ongoing basis, or any number of
classes;
- "Survival" dance lessons for private and public events: One to six
instructors teach 20 to 60-minute mini-lessons in the dance of your choice.
Our instructors stress entertainment and basic skills to allow event
participants to dance right away and thoroughly enjoy your special event;
- Dancers for exhibitions and demonstrations.
- We also offer the famous Wedding Crash Coursesm, a unique one-afternoon class held in Newton, MA, in which couples planning their wedding learn to dance comfortably and confidently for their "first dance". (If you are looking for private wedding dance lessons, we offer those, too!)
Swing dancing is one of our specialties!
